Refocus

Matthew 6:34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”

If the future is inevitable, there is no need to sweat over it. There is no need to worry, just plan and trust God. And guess what? One thing is certain from the time man began to exist on earth till now, and that is death. Every human being will die except raptured by Christ. Read the rest of this entry

Trust God!

Matthew 6:34 “So don’t be anxious about tomorrow, don’t worry about tomorrow. For tomorrow will bring its own worries. God will take care of your tomorrow too. Today’s trouble is enough for today. Live one day at a time. (LB/NLT)

How do I trust God to meet my needs? How do I let God meet my needs? First, Ask God To Be Your Shepherd every single day. Next, Give Him First Place In Every Area Of Your Life. And thirdly, Relax And Give Him Your Worries. Read the rest of this entry

Perfect Peace

1 Peter 5:7 “Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.” (LB).

The Word of God says, give all your worries to God. Take your worry list to God. When you are worried, do not repress it, do not suppress it, just express it to God. Philippians 4:6-7Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.” (LB). Read the rest of this entry

Let Him

Matthew 6:32-33 “So don’t worry at all about having enough food and clothing… your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them, and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to.” (LB).

How do I let Jesus meet my needs? Number one, I Ask Him To Be My Shepherd every day. Number two, I make Him priority. I Give Him First Place In Every Area Of My Life, and I live as He wants me to. Our Shepherd already knows perfectly well what we need. He knows our physical needs. Read the rest of this entry

Ask Him & Give Him

John 10:14-15 “I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me, just as my Father knows me and I know the Father. So I sacrifice my life for the sheep.”

Do you know Him? If you do not, I pray that today you will know Him. Jesus is a shepherd that cares for His sheep in such a way that He lays His life down. Every day when I wake up, I hit the floor and I say a few things to the Lord. I hope you do this. Read the rest of this entry

Ask Him

Psalm 16:5 “The Lord is my chosen and assigned portion, my cup; You hold and maintain my lot.” (AMPC).

You need to realize that God is the most secure place you can be and the most secure place you can have even at this time. If you are going to put your security in anything at all, you should put it not only in something that cannot be taken away from you.  And you should put in something that is limitless. When God Speaks, III

Ezekiel 34:14-15 “Yes, I will give them good pastureland on the high hills of Israel. There they will lie down in pleasant places and feed in the lush pastures of the hills. I myself will tend my sheep and give them a place to lie down in peace, says the Sovereign Lord.”

What should you expect when God speaks to you?

#1: As you are led by God’s Spirit, All Your Needs Will Be Met.

#2. As you are led by God’s Spirit, Your Placement Will Be Strategic.

#3. As you are led by God’s Spirit, You Will Live A Righteous Life.

#4. As you are led by God’s Spirit, Fear Will Be Far Away From You.

#5. As you are led by the Spirit of God, You Will Be Honoured.

#6. As you are led by God’s Spirit, You Will Be Promoted.

#7. As you are led by God’s Spirit, You Secure Your Place In God’s Presence. I pray, in the Name of Jesus, that in God’s presence your place will not be vacant. As His child, you have a place in God’s presence, and my prayer is that your place will not be vacant in the Name of Jesus. Read the rest of this entry

Staying Power

John 16:1 “I have told you these things so that you won’t abandon your faith.”

We cannot thank God enough for the transformation we are experiencing through His Word and our study in the Book of John. God is not done with us yet. If you could ask God one question right now, what will it be? Our anchor text for the next few days is John 16:1-33 [please read]. Read the rest of this entry

Ex. 3:13-14 “But Moses protested, “If I go to the people of Israel and tell them, ‘The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ they will ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what should I tell them?” God replied to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. Say this to the people of Israel: I AM has sent me to you.”

I read this and wondered, Moses why not just ask, “What is Your Name? I want to know Your Name.” Instead of narrating this long epistle about people asking and not knowing what to tell them. Do you know His Name, Moses, are you not interested in knowing His Name? Read the rest of this entry

In Relationship

John 14:10-11 “Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me. Just believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me…”

How is your study of John chapters 12, 13, and 14 going? Remember to form discussion groups and share. As we obey, God will open the Book of remembrance for us in Jesus Name. Over the next few days, we will be diving into John 15:1-27 [please read]. This chapter is super loaded. Read the rest of this entry
