Flows To Fill

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” (NIV).

How will your life look if it overflows with thanksgiving? In answering this question, the first thing we saw is When GRACE Flows In. The second thing is, GRATITUDE fills up. Generous Grace

2 Corinthians 13:14 “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”

I want you to think about your life, who is the stingiest person that you know? How much do people like to hang around that person? The truth is that no one likes stingy people. However, the challenge of our time, [because of the economic challenges in the world], Read the rest of this entry

Never Forget

Psalm 89:1-2 “I will sing of the Lord’s unfailing love forever! Young and old will hear of your faithfulness. Your unfailing love will last forever. Your faithfulness is as enduring as the heavens.”

Own It, II

Passionate Plea

Daniel 9:2-3 “I found out from studying the writings of the prophets that the Lord had said to Jeremiah, “Jerusalem will lie in ruins for 70 years.” Then, to show my sorrow… I confessed my sins and earnestly prayed to the Lord my God” (CEV)

I have told you several stories of how I saw things that totally changed my life in the scriptures. and till today they still are that powerful. So, what did Daniel read in the book of Jeremiah? This is so beautiful. Contained in Jeremiah’s ‘bestselling book’ , Jeremiah 29:10-12 This is what the Lord says: “You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again. For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen.” (emphasis added). On My Knees

Psalm 95:6-7 “So come, let us worship: bow before him, on your knees before God, who made us! Oh yes, he’s our God, and we’re the people he pastures, the flock he feeds.” (MSG)

Our final thought yesterday was focused on church history and how many of the early Christians were martyred and killed for being followers of Jesus. Many of them were crucified, but history has it that a lot of them, including Peter, when they were about to be crucified begged their prosecutors, Read the rest of this entry

How To

Psalm 77:7-9 “Has the Lord rejected me forever? Will he never again be kind to me? Is his unfailing love gone forever? Have his promises permanently failed? Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he slammed the door on his compassion?”

Who He Is, I

Ps.50:23 “… giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honours me.” (emphasis added)

When you are grateful, you cannot really be anxious. When you actually worship, you cannot be worrying, they cannot coexist. You have to choose one, is it going to be worry or is it going to be worship? Is it going to be anxiety or is it going to be gratitude? Read the rest of this entry

The Nine, V

Luke 17:15-16 “One of them, when he realized that he was healed, turned around and came back, shouting his gratitude, glorifying God. He kneeled at Jesus’ feet, so grateful. He couldn’t thank him enough—and he was a Samaritan.” (MSG)

Today, we will pick up from our final thought from yesterday which is, what God did for you, He did for you personally, and not do for someone else. Jesus died on the cross of calvary for you, for me. It is just like having four children and three of them are responsive to you, they care about you, and they Read the rest of this entry

The Nine, IV

Ps.34:1&3 “Lord! I’m bursting with joy over what you’ve done for me! My lips are full of perpetual praise. Join me, everyone! Let’s praise the Lord together. Let’s make him famous! Let’s make his name glorious to all.” (TPT)

Luke 17:17Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine?” We have been searching for the nine and so far, we have found six. The first one listened to the voice of doubt. The second one said his healing was a coincidence. Read the rest of this entry
